Color Tip Tee!

This classic, set in sleeve tee is constructed from the top down. The front and back are knit flat until they’re joined at the underarm and the body is knit in the round. This tee utilizes a short row cap sleeve so there’s no seaming! The garment is finished with colorful twisted rib edgings. If you are familiar with my Dad’s Sweater pattern, the construction is very similar!

Now that I've completed my gift knits I'm frantically trying to finish this stunning, holiday themed #WhitmoorCardigan! I rarely knit a circular yoke and as soon as I grabbed my holiday garland I knew I needed a shot of this beautiful lace yoke.

I don't think I'm gonna make it by Christmas, but maybe New Year's? Cross your fingers for me that I make quick progress!!

Spent the most incredible 4 days trekking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu!

Our first multi-day hike and first time carrying any kind of real weight on my back. It was really challenging at some parts (>4000 ft gain in 3 miles at 14000 ft elevation IN THE RAIN 😅) but so, so beautiful and I'm really glad we did it! We learned so much and had the experience of a lifetime!!

Sooooo late in sharing the latest version of my forever go to tee pattern, the Color Tip Tee. This time tip-less and with sleeves!

For the long sleeve mod, I just knit the sleeves as written and kept knitting with no increases/decreases until a bit past the elbow where I added them about every inch until I was ready for ribbing!

I think this is gonna be a really nice transitional piece for fall/spring! But I may need to go back and add a bit of length to the body... I think I got a tiny bit too excited for it to be finished.

It took FOREVER to finish, it's only fitting that it also took me forever to finally share about it haha. I started this back in January 2024 and definitely took some long breaks, but I was super motivated to finish it before this winter! I really love how it turned out I know it's gonna be my go-to in colder weather!

We go apple picking each year and many of y'all know I love to make a dedicated sweater for the occasion. This year I knit a tee AND sewed the most perfect gingham skirt to go along with it.

To say I'm in love would be an understatement. I've been dreaming of this outfit for months and putting in the time and effort to bring it to life is so rewarding 🥹 especially considering my complicated relationship with sewing 😅 but I honestly think this was a breakthrough project for me!
