Color Tip Tee!

This classic, set in sleeve tee is constructed from the top down. The front and back are knit flat until they’re joined at the underarm and the body is knit in the round. This tee utilizes a short row cap sleeve so there’s no seaming! The garment is finished with colorful twisted rib edgings. If you are familiar with my Dad’s Sweater pattern, the construction is very similar!

A new space felt like the right time to rethink my yarn storage, and to think more actively about what I want to keep and what I might be ready to part with!

I was actually quite pleasantly surprised that nearly all my yarn and fiber fit in this cabinet! And even my fabric too! Stay tuned for a longer form video where I go through everything I put away and the plans I have for it!

The sun is shining and I'm starting something new

The sun is shining and I'm starting something new 🌞

I've been really scared to try spinning long draw but with some encouragement from @what.maya.made and the #100daysoflongdraw challenge I felt like now was the perfect time! There's still tons of progress to be made, I know these clips look a little like a short forward/long draw hybrid 😅 but I'm learning! And I'm confident it'll get better! Even if it's frustrating at times right now.

I knew this hike would be magical, but I had no id

I knew this hike would be magical, but I had no idea it would be this magical. We saw probably hundreds of sheep along the way! It's a good thing we did because I'm not sure I would've made it to the top otherwise! At one point I definitely started telling myself "just get to the next sheep" and my husband even told me "the best sheep of all is at the very top!" Of course this wasn't true but he definitely knew how to motivate me! Really really grateful for this body that can take me to beautiful places like this.

2023 was a wild one. My crafting really ebbed and flowed. I started spinning! I helped organize a fiber festival! I released a pattern and got to see lots of you knit my designs!! I knit so many things in so many places. Through it all I'm so grateful for this craft and this community, and I can't wait to see what we all get up to next year 😊

The Greek Islands were an absolute dream, and now we're off to Athens!

It's been over two weeks of travel and I was really unsure how I'd feel at this point. Our longest trips in the past have been just over a week long so I was really nervous traveling for longer would cause burn out. There have definitely been tough moments, but overall I'm feeling so excited still!

My favorite way to style each of my Stripey Turtle Tanks! We're entering #StripeyTurtleTank season here in Seattle and I couldn't be happier to add these back to my wardrobe! I love having three different color combos so they go with a ton of things.

I can't believe it's been almost two years since I released this pattern, and seeing y'all knit them and love them as much as I do is one of my very favorite things!

I'd been thinking about starting to spin for a really long time but was nervous. Somehow I was nervous both that I'd be bad at it and that I'd fall in love with it. I wanted to wait until I felt like I had enough time to dedicate to it so it wouldn't take away from my other interests. But with some encouragement from @what.maya.made I started slow with a drop spindle and this weekend I took the plunge into wheel spinning and I am never turning back! There's something really special about the feeling of learning something new, and I'm really excited to be caught up in this feeling for a while ✨️

2022 was a really big year for me, full of some huge changes. I left my job with the Mariners, and started devoting myself more fully to knitting, designing, and sharing yarn with y'all over at @shoplamercerie.

I published four patterns, knit lots of projects, helped tons of customers, and honestly made some lifelong friends. Thanks so much to all of you for your support throughout this year. I can't wait to see what 2023 brings ❤️
