Color Tip Tee!

This classic, set in sleeve tee is constructed from the top down. The front and back are knit flat until they’re joined at the underarm and the body is knit in the round. This tee utilizes a short row cap sleeve so there’s no seaming! The garment is finished with colorful twisted rib edgings. If you are familiar with my Dad’s Sweater pattern, the construction is very similar!

Here's the big one, my Rhinebeck sweater (pt. 2), my #BookClubPullover!!! 🍂🙌

For the month leading up to Rhinebeck I knit little else, I was locked in on this vision of my beautiful gold, cabled sweater amidst the beautiful gold leaves, and I did it!! It also helped that I was the last of my Rhinebeck buddies to finish my book club and I wanted to match! 😅

Some of y'all may remember my first (failed) attempts at knitting this sweater with different yarn, and I'm so so glad that I waited for the right time and the right yarn to knit it. This is is @istexlopi Lettlopi and I know this sweater is going to keep generations of my family cute and warm.

For some time we've been dreaming of a matching knit in @harrisvilledesigns nightshades. We each picked a unique colorway and I got Dashboard, a beautiful blue! I chose to knit the #lakesvneckpullover by @ozetta and while I knew I'd love it, I didn't fully realize how much! I've worn it so many times since finishing!

In my feelings this morning as I'm headed east to NY Sheep & Wool with my buddies. I feel like culturally knitting has the reputation of being a solitary activity, but so much of it for me is getting to do it alongside my pals!

I've been in a bit of a spinning slump, but admiring this last finished spin from the summer. Two hand dyed braids of merino, both very blue forward but one quite a bit lighter than the other so it resulted in a marled effect!

I thiiink these still need a bath before I use them 😅 but I'm already dreaming of what they might become.

Last weekend we took our annual trip to the apple orchard accompanied by my new handspun vest 🥹🍎 I kinda freestyled the pattern using a brioche sweater pattern I already owned and I love how it turned out!

This is also my first garment made from my own woolen spun handspun! I'm normally not huge on brown but this super dark Romeldale from @bellwether1980 completely won me over! And there may be more brown in my future 👀
